Carrousel Leslie Douglas-Churchwell received the American Heart Association New Haven Chapter Go Red for Women Legacy Leadership Award on February 19, 2026. Leslie conceived and Co-Chaired New Haven’s Inaugural G Red for Women Event in 2016. She continued to Co-chair the event for 3 years.

The Houston Carrousel Chapter proudly recognizes the recent selection of Carrousel Erika Gentry, to the Inaugural cohort of the Howard University (HU) Board of Trustees Alumni Leadership Academy. The 20-person pilot cohort was selected from a robust and diverse applicant pool that showcased the excellence exemplified by Howard University alumni.
Carrousel Erika is a HU class of 1992 graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Microbiology. She is a board certified Family Medicine physician with a MBA in Healthcare Management.She married her college sweetheart of 29 years and they are the proud parents of two HU alumnae.
